The leaders of the Alma Mater union decided to organize a warning strike on November 10, deciding to launch the general strike on November 18, for an undetermined period, news agencies inform. The union workers demand the 50% raise for teachers the Parliament approved recently.
The call for postponing the protest made by president Traian Basescu on Thursday remained unanswered. The teachers in the Spiru Haret union will go on strike on Monday, while the FSLI union will go on strike on November 10.
A week later, the general strike may burst, along with the public servants.
