Orange Romania invested 1.6 billion euro since 1997, of which some 200 million euro were invested only this year in expanding the telecommunication network, in developing Orange's distribution services and launching new products, a press release of the telecom operator reads. Orange announced on Monday the expansion of the distribution networks, by opening a new store in Timisoara, West Romania.
Orange officials announced on Monday that it reached a total of 100 distribution shops in Romania. Besides its own shops, Orange also has some 1,100 partner shops and some 35,000 selling points of its prepaid cards.
