Russia will resume its natural gas deliveries on Tuesday, EC President, Jose Manuel Barosso declared in a press conference, after a meeting with Romania's President and Prime Minister. The information was confirmed by the Czech Republic which holds the presidency of the EU.
An agreement was signed already by Russian and Ukraine. The EC president declared that he hoped there would be no mode delays or excuses and that gas deliveries would be resumed without problems.
Barosso declared that the EU needs to have a common energy policy to reduce dependency on fossils and interconnect as many EU countries as possible.
