Two masked and armed robbers attacked late in the afternoon a "Banca Transilvania" branch in the city of Cluj Napoca, Hotnews.ro informs. The robbery took place near the end of the program, but several persons were still in the bank. There were no victims recorded. An official press release of the institution claims that the bank robbers stole some 70,000 Euros, in Romanian currency.

The attackers asked the personnel and the clients to get down on the ground, threatening them with the guns. Asked to open the safe, the cashier refused and pressed the panic button, calling the security company. Eventually, the attackers managed to steal only the money in the cashier's office. The entire adventure took less than 10 minutes.
