A Romanian living in New York was arrested after demanding a reward for some objects he stole. Constantin Cristache, aged 32, was detained last week at New York. Police officers confirmed that the Romanian stole a mobile telephone and three sun glasses from a parked car in the Astonia neighborhood.
After a couple of hours he called the owner of the car and told him that he found his objects and he will return them if he receives a reward. However, the car owner called the police who arrested Cristache.
