After receiving a favorable vote of the Romania's Football Federation Executive Commitee accepted Razvan Lucescu as the new national football team coach. Lucescu Jr., former technician at Rapid will replace Victor Piturca.

Lucescu Jr was elected for his experience in Europe, for his skills to motivate players and his performance registered at Rapid. Moreover, he has an excellent relation with the media, unlike Victor Piturca.

Lucescu will receive 250,000 euro per year, half than what Victor Piturca, the former coach received and if he will manage to lead Romania to the 2012 EURO Championship, he will receive a 500,000 euro bonus.

Reactions did not take long to appear and both professionals and players declared that they are looking forward to work with Lucescu Jr.
