Depeche Mode has officially announced the continuation of the Tour of the Universe, Emagic informs. Dave Gahan suffered a gastroenteritis attack on May 12, which lead to the delay of nine shows. The tour will resume on June 8, in Leipzig.

Depeche Mode front man Dave Gahan suffered a sever gastroenteritis attack on May 12. The band had to cancel their Athens show and other eight concerts, among which their Bucharest performance. Further tests showed Davin Gahan had a bladder tumour. He stood a successful surgical intervention and will follow the doctor’s orders and rest to recover until June 8, when the Tour of the Universe will resume.

The organisers are currently negotiating for a new concert data in Bucharest with Emagic. Emagic recommends those who have a ticket to hold on to them, because they will be valid for the coming Bucharest concert. The persons who wish to give up their ticket can do so at the office where they purchased the ticket from. Only the ticket price will be reimbursed, within 12 weeks, if the ticket is valid and in good shape. Fans can also trade their Depeche Mode tickets with B’ESTFEST tickets. More details are found on www.emagic.ro, www.myticket.ro, www.ticketpoint.ro.
