Romanian Central Electoral Office has released the voting results for each county. Here they are so far:

Covasna (North Romania): UDMR took most votes, followed by PSD and PD-L

After the final count, UDMR ranked one in the voters’ preferences in Covasna, 82.41%, meaning 53,315 votes. PSD-PC was far behind: 6.19% - 4,009 votes, as was PD-L: 4.47% - 2,892 votes, PNL: 1,385 votes (2.14%) and PRM: 1,283 votes (1.98%). Elena Basescu ranked 6th: 926 votes (1.43%), Pavel Abraham got 517 votes (0.79%), and PNT-CD and Forta Civica, 222, 144 votes, respectively.

Harghita (North): UDMR won by a large distance. Liberals seconed Elena Basescu

Like Covasna, Harghita has a large Hungarian minority population. It was only to expect UDMR will win here most mandates. According to BEC, UDMR raised 97,164 amounting to 89.4%. PSD-PC came second with 3,698 votes – 3.4%, PDL with 2,390 votes – 2.3%. PRM is next, with 1,497 votes – 1.38%. Elena Basescu was voted by 1,382 people – 1.27%. PNL managed to raise only 1,195 votes – 1.09%. Last on the list are Pavel Abraham - 846 votes, PNTCD - 280, and the Civic Force - 236.

Sibiu (Central): PD-L took most votes

The final count reported by the County Electoral Office BEJ indicated that PD-L won most votes in Sibiu: 33.93% (25,605), followed by PSD-PC – 32.06% (24,197), PNL – 13.03%, PRM – 8.12%, Elena Basescu – 5.94% and UDMR – 3.34%. Romanian news agency Agerpres noted hat this was the first time in the last years when PSD managed to attract a large number of votes in the Transilvanian city.

Bihor (North-West): UDMR wins with 27.53%

Final results - UDMR and CNMT candidates on the "Hungarian solidarity list" raised 27.53% of the votes, followed by PDL with 23.66% and PNL with cu 18.65%. Next in line is PSD-PC - 18.07%, PRM - 7.38%, Elena Basescu - 2.42%, PNTCD - 1.18%, Pavel Abraham - 0.8% and the Civic Force - 0.27%.

Giurgiu (South): PDL obtained almost 40%

Final results - PDL won in Giurgiu with 37,134 votes, out of a total of 96,671. PSD-PC came second, raising cu 25,474 votes, followed by PNL with 21,015 votes, PRM with 5,280 votes, Elena Basescu – 2,398 votes, PNTCD - 903 votes, Abraham Pavel - 716, the Civic Force - 264 and UDMR with 159 votes.

Bistrita-Nasaud (North): PDL won over PSD-PC by 3%

PDL won here with 37.02%, while PSD-PC Alliance ranked second – 34.86%. PNL was voted by 9.46%of the local electorate, and UDMR raised 6.30%of the votes. PRM got 5.97%, while Elena Basescu was preferred by 3.73% of the voters. PNTCD obtained 1.36%, Pavel Abraham – 0.80% and the Civic Force got 0.45%.

Cluj (Central): PDL gets one third of the votes

PDL raised 46,182 votes, meaning 31.01%, UDMR – 33,525 votes 22.51%, PSD-PC – 29,522 votes 19.82%, PNL – 15,882 equal to 10.66%, PRM – 11,374 votes (7.63%), PNTCD – 2,896 (1.94%), the Civic Force – 687 votes (0.46%). Independent candidate Elena Basescu a obtained 6,802 votes, amounting to 4.56% and Pavel Abraham – 2,033 (1.36%).

Arad (West): PDL – 40.96%, PSD-PC – 21.09%

According to the final count, PDL won in Arad with 40.96% of the local votes. PSD-PC Alliance raised 21.09% and ranked second. PNL came third, with 12.33%, followed by UDMR with 10.13%. PRM got 7.19%, while Elena Basescu received 4.74%, PNTCD, 2.27%, Pavel Abraham, 0.94%, and the Civic Force 0.35%.

Constanta (South-East): PSD-PC, won against PDL by 4%

Final results - PSD won in Constanta, getting 34.64% of the votes. PDL came second, with 27.83%. PNL ranked third with 14.11%. Elena Basescu met 7.18% of the votes. The rest of the political parties obtained under 2.5%.

Timis (West): PDL – 38.32%, PSD-PC - 27%

PDL won 38.32%, and PSD-PC got 27%, according to the final count BEJ Timis made available. PNL ranked third with 13.41%, followed by UDMR, 5.72%, PRM, 7.37%, PNTCD, 2.06%, Elena Basescu 4.70%, Pavel Abraham – 1.07% and Civic Alliance 0.30%.

Buzau (East) : PDL, PSD-PC, PNL

The final ranking in Buzau shows PDL winning with 33.3% of the votes, followed by, PSD-PC: 31.91%, PNL: 19. 97%, PRM: 9.08%, Elena Basescu: 3.24%, PNTCD: 0.9%, UDMR: 0.22%, the Civic Force: 0.45%, Pavel Abraham – 0.89%.

Botosani: PDL wins

PDL wins in Botosani with 33.4% of the total number of votes, followed by PSD-PC: 32.63% and PNL: 18.45%. PRM gained 9.18%, Elena Basescu – 3.52%, Pavel Abraham – 1.09%, PNTCD 1.06%, the Civic Force – 0.33% and UDMR 0.29%.

Galati: PSD wins with 42.44%

PSD obtained 42.44% of the votes. PDL came second with 26.95%, according to the final results. PNL ranked third, recording 17.39%. PRM managed to raise 6.99% and Elena Basescu – 3.63%. PNTCD met 1.04%; Pavel Abraham – 0.95%, UDMR and the Civic Force raised 0.29% each.

Vaslui (East): PSD got over 45% of the local electoral votes

After centralising over 90% of the local votes, PSD gained its best score in Vaslui, meeting over 45% of the votes. PDL follows with approximately 22%. PNL is third with 17%. PRM obtained 9%, and Elena Basescu – 4.03%. PNTCD recorded 0.87%, the Civic Force saw 0.44% and UDMR – 0.24%. Independent candidate Pavel Abraham met 1.14%.

Olt (South): PSD-PC – 47.04%

Final results - PSD-PC: 47.04%, PDL: 31.62%, PNL: 11.40%. Next five scores were met as follows: PRM: 6.25%, Elena Basescu: 2.18%, PNTCD: 0.81%, Pavel Abraham: 0.39%, UDMR and the Civic Force.

Iasi (North-East): PSD-PC, 12 percents ahead of PDL

Final results: PSD-PC wins 37.63% of he votes, followed by PDL – 25.2% and PNL – 17.41%. PRM – 9.37%, Elena Basescu – 6.35%, Pavel Abraham – 1.71%, PNTCD – 1.36%, the Civic Force– 0.69%, UDMR 0.23%.

Satu Mare (North-West): UDMR+CNMT = 39.64% of the votes. Approximately 10% of the voters were listed on the additional lists.

Final results – Candidates on the "the Hungarian solidarity list" (UDMR+CNMT) raised 39.64% of the local votes, followed by PSD+PC Alliance 20.61% and PDL, with 18.82%.

9.91% of the electorate were listed n the additional lists.

Hunedoara (Central-West): PSD-PC, 28.56%

Final results - PSD-PC gets 28.56% of the local votes. PDL came second, with 21.73%. PNL raised 21.19%, PRM – 11.80%, Elena Basescu – 7.62%, UDMR+CNMT, "the Hungarian solidarity list", - 5.69%, PNTCD – 1.58%, Pavel Abraham – 1.33%, the Civic Force – 0.44%.

Dambovita (South): PSD-PC, PDL, PRM

Final results - PSD wins with 43.01% of the votes, followed by PDL with 36.23% and PRM, cu 7.58%. Next, PNL – 7.1%, Elena Basescu – 4.25%, PNTCD - 0.73%, Pavel Abraham – 0.69%, the Civic Force- 375 votes, UDMR - 240 votes.

Salaj (North-West): UDMR+CNMT – 29.55%. Although he’s from Salaj, Pavel Abraham gets only 1.13%

Final results - UDMR+CNMT won with 29.55%. PSD-PC raised 25.34% and PDL - 23.93%. The Liberals got 10.3%, PRM – 5.22%, Pavel Abraham – 1.13%, and Elena Basescu - 2.77%.

Teleorman (South): PSD-PC sees another record: 51.68%

Final results - PSD-PC got 51.68% of the votes, almost 30 percents more than PDL – 22.27%. PNL – 18.91%, PRM – 4.63%, Elena Basescu – 1.70%. The rest of the candidates – under 1%.

Mehedinti (South-West): PSD-PC, wins against PDL

Final results - PSD-PC wins in Mehedinti with 37.08%, followed by PDL with 35.62%, PNL with 15.08%, PRM with 7.7%, Elena Basescu with 2.5%, PNTCD with 1%.

Calarasi (South-East): PDL takes the first place

PDL sees wins here with 21,675 votes; second comes PSD-PC with 19,379 votes. PNL: 14,593 mandates, PRM: 6,122, PNTCD: 3,918, Elena Basescu: 2,443, Pavel Abraham: 1,050, the Civic Force: 319, UDMR: 316 votes.

Ialomita (South-East): PSD wins 44.8% of the votes

Final results - PSD wins with 44.80% of the votes, followed by PDL – 28.46% and PNL – 11.31%. PRM receives 8.4%, Elena Basescu – 3.82%, PNTCD – 1.66%, Pavel Abraham – 0.97%, the Civic Force – 0.34% and UDMR – 0.20%.

Dolj (South): PSD-PC, PDL, PNL

Final results – the Social-Democrats got with over 4.000 votes more than the Liberal-Democrats, raising 39.20% of the votes. PDL is second here, meeting 36.56%, PNL came third with 10.36%. Next follows: PRM with 7.78%, Elena Basescu – 3.09%, PNTCD – 1.80%, Pavel Abraham with 0.68%, the Civic Force with 0.30% and UDMR with 0.19%.

Maramures (North): PDL gains 29.51% of the votes

PDL won the European Parliamentary elections in Maramures, meeting 29.51% of the votes. PSD-PC is second, with 25.24%. Liberals got 16.51%, UDMR: 9.95%, PRM: 9.66%. Elena Basescu was voted by 5.08% of the locals.

Bacau (East): PSD-PC – 31.88%

Final results - PSD-PC won with 31.88%, followed by PDL with 29.15%, PNL with 20.90%, PRM with 9.10%, Elena Basescu with 4.68%, Pavel Abraham with 1.67%, PNTCD with 1.27%, UDMR with 0.75% and the Civic Force with 0.55%.

Valcea (South-Central): PSD-PC saw 14% more than PDL

Final results - PSD-PC gained 39.56% of the votes, PDL – 25.56%, PNL – 19.52%, PRM – 9.30%, Elena Basescu – 3.12%, PNTCD – 1.48%, Pavel Abraham – 0.67%, the Civic Force – 0.65%, UDMR – 0.38%.

Vrancea: PSD-PC won by far – 48.47%

Final results - PSD-PC got almost half of the electoral votes in Vrancea: 48.47. The party was followed by PDL: 21.24%, PNL: 15.45%, PRM: 7.99%, Elena Basescu 3.91%, Pavel Abraham: 1.42%, PNTCD: 0.92%, the Civic Force: 0.37% and UDMR 0.19%.

Arges (South): PSD-PC, 16%ahead of PDL. PRM ranks third

Final results - PSD-PC gained 41.42% of the votes, followed by PD-L with 25%. PRM saw more votes than PNL, meeting 13.66% of the votes. Liberals saw only 12.56%. Elena Basescu raised 3.57%, PNTCD – 1.43%, Pavel Abraham - 0.91%, the Civic Force – 0.79%, UDMR – 0.13%.

Tulcea (South-East): PDL, PSD-PC, PNL

Final results – Out of the 45,212 expressed votes, 17,696 favoured PDL, 13,000 went to PSD-PC and 6,521 addressed PNL. The least votes, namely 96 and 267, were raised by UDMR and the Civic Force. The two independent candidates, Elena Basescu and Abraham Pavel, met 2,443, and 600 votes respectively.

Brasov (Central): PDL saw 11percentage more than PSD-PC

Final results - PDL gained 33.33%, PSD-PC – 22.61% and PNL – 19.53%. The ranking goes on with UDMR, which scored 10.03%, PRM – 6.94%, PNTCD – 1.52% and the Civic Force 0.57%. Elena Basescu met 4.43% and Pavel Abraham – 0.98%.

Suceava: The winner is PDL

Final results: PDL met 39.5% of the electoral vote, followed by PSD: 28.8%, PNL: 10.99%, PRM: 9.62%, Elena Basescu: 7.47%, PNTCD: 1.64%, Pavel Abraham: 1.09%, UDMR: 0.44% and the Civic Force 0.39%.
