An earthquake was registered on Wednesday in the Black Sea, reaching also Bucharest, Romania's Capital city, at 10.49 am. The tremor registered 5.1 degrees on a Richter scale and took place in the Black Sea region, Romania's Earth Physics Institute director Gheorghe Marmureanu declared for HotNews.ro.

The tremor started on Sabla, in Bulgaria, 30 km south of the Romanian seaside resort Mangalia. The last tremor in the region registered 7.1 degrees on a Richter scale, back in March 31, 1901.
