Meteorologists issued a yellow code warning alert for cold weather in most of the country, except West Romania starting Friday night to Sunday night when the weather will steadily get colder and heavy rain and storms will hit most of the regions.

Most regions will witness heavy rain - in some places rain drops will exceed 25 l/ sq meters and, exceptionally, can reach 55 to 60 l/sq. meters.
