The designated PM Lucian Croitoru declared on Friday that he will start consultations with representatives of the parties, in an attempt to obtain a Parliamentary majority. Democrat Liberals announced that they will sustain his candidacy, while the Social Democrats and Liberals declared that they will not vote a government lead by Croitoru as they already made up a transparent majority in the Parliament, lead by Johannis.

In an interview for Radio Romania Actualitati, Croitoru expressed his hope that he will convince parties to sustain him and said that he will dedicate next week to set up his governance program to present in the Parliament. and negotiate with Parliamentary politics.
