Two men suspected of having delivered electoral bribes were retained by the police in the city of Giurgiu, South Romania on Sunday. They are now under inquiry, according to Romanian news agency Agerpres.

Several people said the two offered them money to vote for a certain candidate.

The police was informed about the situation by phone. Checks showed the two allegedly offered 30 RON per vote for a certain candidate.

Another man is under inquiry under similar accusations in Hunedoara, Central Romania.
