Romania's economy shrinked by 0.6% in the third quarter, Romania's National Statistics Institute reveals. The Institute thus revised the previous data, which indicated a GDP decrease of 0.7%. For the first nine months of the year, the GDP drop was 7.4% , lower than the one registered at six months.

The estimated GDP value for the third quarter was 127.79 billion lei, and for the first nine months of the year the registered value was 334.23 billion lei. Financial activities, real estate and renting sectors registered a 0.1% advance.
