Over 9,000 rural development projects were contracted for European financing until December 2009, worth about 1.7 billion euro. 2010 bring about a decrease the the public financing budget and the launch of new financing lines for forest infrastructure, officials declared for HotNews.ro/EurActiv.ro.
Currently, for the launched measures, 21.531 requests for funds were made, worth 10.37 billion euro. Until December 24, 2009 the responsible Romanian agency made payments worth 182 million euro.
According to the institutions' representatives, two of the financing lines will register a decrease in the money offer in 2010. Moreover, two new measures will be launched in 2010 referring to forest infrastructure, representatives announce.
