Herman van Rompuy - European Union President will arrive on Monday, in Bucharest in a first visit in Romania since he took over the position. Van Rompuy is scheduled to meet with President Basescu.
His Romanian counterpart will present Romania's priorities regarding European Affairs, the Romanian Presidential Administration informs. Moreover, aspects regarding the economic situation of the Union will be discussed and some themes from the informal meeting of the chief of states due on February 11, 2010.
