Social-democratic senator Lia Olguta Vasilescu addressed Romanian regional Development and Tourism minister Elena Udrea serious accusations on Wednesday evening, March 3. The PSD Senator claims that Antonie Solomon has been retained by Anti0Corruption Authority (DNA) prosecutors after he had allegedly taken Elena Udrea's construction firm off Craiova's market. Lia Olguta Vasilecu also claims that rumours have been circulating already for two weeks that Antonie Solomon will be brought to DNA.

• "For two weeks now rumours have it in Craiova that Antonie Solomon will have to sign declarations at DNA. It was not known hat he would be arrested with handcuffs. All because Mrs. Elena Udrea's firms have been taken out of Craiova's market for several weeks", Lia Olguta Vasilescu declared for Romanian TV channel Realitatea Tv.

Elena Udrea answered the accusations by stating that the event has no connection with any construction company and announced that she will sue Lia Olguta Vasilescu: "I have no connection in the constructions area. It is impossible to use such suppositions."
