Romania's Intelligence Services (SRI), together with other international institutions with attributions in the security and allied structures, supervised the actions of Iraqi citizen Ahman Khalaf Ahabib al Dulaimi, accused of being leader of Al Qaida in Europe, Mediafax informs, quoting SRI's press officer.

SRI's representative declared that the measures undertaken included the prevention of some threats of terrorist acts which could have affected Romania's security interests or that of its allies.
