Air traffic will be open on all airports in the country on Monday to Tuesday. The first airport open was in Targu Mures, where traffic will start on Monday night, Romanian news agency Mediafax reads, quoting the Romanian Air Traffic Administration (ROMATSA) director Bogdan Donciu.

Donciu assured that as the weather improves, proposals will be made to open Romania's air space. He assured that airports will open by Tuesday night across the country. The government committee for emergency situations decided on Monday to open eight airports including Bucharest airports Otopeni and Baneasa, Craiova, Cluj Napoca, Oradea, Satur Mare and Baia Mare.
