Pensions will not drop as the new law is adopted, PM Emil Boc assured on Tuesday during the Senate's debate on the pensions law. He said that, on the contrary, pensions will increase based on a new calculus. He underlined that not all pensions will be recalculated after the new law will be implemented but only special pensions will be affected.
The PM explained that pensions might not be paid on the medium and long term and the total sum to be transferred from the state budget for pensions might increase from 1.7 to 4.6 billion euro.
