Romanian Ioana Velescu, 17 years, is one of the young photographers selected at the International Sony World Photography Awards 2010, according to the data released by UNICEF and the World Photography Organization.
The competition was destined for both professionals and amateurs, is organized annually. This year, six young photographers, aged 15 to 18, coming from New Zeeland, Romania, US, Marrocco, Israel and Brazil were selected as winners.
Ioana Velescu sent the photograph entitled Behind Danger, which warns about the rights of every child to be protected against vilence, abuse and exploitation.
