Romania's Environment ministry announced that the volcanic ash cloud, present on Monday in West and North West Romania will advance steadily and will position, by Tuesday morning over most of the Romanian sky. The ministry presented on Monday the latest data regarding the evolution of the ash cloud.

UPDATE According to the Civil Aviation Department chief, Catalin Radu, the Romanian air space will not be closed. He said that the night evolution of the cloud does not affect airline traffic. He said air space is closed in Spain, Portugal, North Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic.

According to the prognosis, specialists consider that the cloud is not going to pollute the air.
