Romania's National Fiscal Administration Agency will set up a special department to control individuals with high incomes. The measure, announced in the statement letter to the IMF, was confirmed for HotNews.ro by sources from the Agency.

The new direction's aim is not only to observe the way individuals with high incomes pay their dues to the state but also find those who have undeclared revenues. According to the statement letter written by Romanian authorities, the government plans to ammend the Fiscal Code and the fiscal procedure law to offer the Agency the right to access bank statements.
