The 54th edition of Eurovision takes off on Tuesday in Oslo, on the Telenor Arena stage with the fist semi-final of the competition. Romania's representatives Paula Selin and Ovi will compete on Thursday, in the second stage.

Ovi declared in a press conference on May 12 that without doubts, Romania will take the first position. The competition reunites participants from 37 countries, the two semifinals grouped representatives of 17 countries, Romanian news agency Agerpres reads.

Norway, last year's winner, and France, Germany, Spain and Great Britain are qualified for the finals.
