Romania's Government is analysing a new reduction of the number of governmental agencies, according to an announcement made at a request. The announcement says, however, that the number of agencies that might get dismantled or brought together in fewer bodies is not yet known, but that the government hoped to reach a conclusion in this regard by end of July.

The Government is interested in a new reorganisation of governmental agencies despite that a restructuring process is ongoing. According to governmental sources, some 9,000 employees at this level should have been made redundant, a target which has not yet been accomplished.
