The government decreased the number of state secretaries and subprefects. We decided that of 57 state secretaries, of which 7 were unoccupied to have only 32, PM Emil Boc declared. He added that he signed to lay off 17 state secretaries and two subsecretaries. One position in the Interior ministry needs the approval of the defence council.
Moreover, as of today, each prefecture will only have one subprefect instead of two while the prefecture in Bucharest will have two subprefects instead of three.
