Students at the Bucharest Polytechnic University together with students of the Bucharest University participate in the project management and construction of two artificial satellites that will orbit Earth and the Moon, a press release of the Romanian Space Agency reads.

ESEO - the satellite will take pictures of the Earth and other planets in educational purposes. The team of students will be responsible for the structural subsystems of the satellite. ESMO, the sttellite to orbit the Moon will be the first student mission of the sort. Students from 19 superior education institutions will take part. Romania, as future member of ESA attends with two Romanian student teams.
