Hundreds of dead fish were brought to the sea shore at Navodari, Mamaia and Constanta, South East Romania and the phenomenon seems to expand to the South of the seaside resorts. Local authorities in charge with the seaside administration intervene manually during the day to collect the fish and also at night with specialized vehicles, a press release reads.

Currently, local authorities took samples from the dead fish at the shore and are currently examining to reveal the cause of the phenomenon. The results will be made public on Friday, July 30. According to the latest tests conducted last week, the Black Sea's salinity level dropped to 8-9% from 16%. In general, during the summer, the salinity levels drop to 11%.
