The budget project for next year, discussed with the IMF sees an economic increase of 1.5 - 2% and a budgetary deficit of 4.4% of GDP, Romanian Finance minister Sebastian Vladescu announced, quoted by the Romanian news agency Mediafax.

He said that the 2011 estimate also include a 3% inflation target, with a plus or minus 1% variation and a current account deficit of about 5%. A common mission of the IMF and EC is currently in Romania until August 4th in Bucharest for a new evaluation of the agreement with Romania.
