The losses registered by the railway and metro transport companies, CFR and Metrorex will increase prices starting this Fall by 9%, Romanian news agency Agerpres informs. The new intent letter to the stand by agreement with the IMF reads that the two companies, together with other public companies will have to increase their tariffs to reach the targeted level of debts to private companies.

The two companies, CFR and Metrorex are planning for three months now to increase their tariffs. The new plans include a 9% increase by the railway transport company and the metro transportation company was planning an increase between 7 to 9%.
