PM Emil Boc declared on Thursday night, in a public television show, that he maintains his optimism regarding a recovery of 10% of the 25% cut of budgetary salaries for 2011 and in two weeks the government will present the scenario of the unique salary law implementation, Romanian news agency Agerpres informs. PM Boc discussed about the debate forecasted in the Parliamentary extraordinary session on the VAT increase, about Rompetrol's debts.

I am moderately optimistic that in 2011 we will recover a part of the 25% cut of budgetary salaries in 2010. Some will recover more, others less, depending on the unique salary law - for which we are currently working on, PM Boc declared. He said that the government will present in two weeks an implementation scenario for the unique salary scheme law for 2011.

I will not hesitate to assume responsibility in front of the Parliament for the most important draft laws the government puts forward to reform the state, even if the government risks to fall, PM Boc said.

Regarding the debate to take place in the extraordinary Parliamentary session on the VAT increase and the lay offs imposed in the budgetary sector, Boc said that the Parliament is free to debate any governmental decision, as long as they will see fit to approve them faster.
