French Foreign Affairs minister Bernard Kouchner declared in an interview for RTL, quoted by AFP, that he considered the idea to resign after the scandal triggered by the decision of the French administration to expel illegal gypsies from France.

Kouchner, former Socialist, famous for its humanitarian actions was recruited by Sarkozy in the right wing government in 2007. He confessed that he had some doubts because of the case but decided to remain in the government to impose his point of view.

He declared that he is concerned with the Rroma community for 25 years but his resignation would not improve the situation.
