Volksbank Romania President, Johann Lurf will receive representatives of the unsatisfied clients today, in an attempt to counter the plans of the clients to sue the bank as a collective entity. Representatives of the clients told HotNews.ro that six people will attend the meeting, each specialized on legal, finance and IT issues.

A Volksbank press release issued yesterday reads that the Bank has every interest to propose solutions that would even decrease total costs of the credits. Volksbank was the first financial institution to meet with about 100 representatives of the clients, members of an online forum, to hear their concerns. Bank representatives assured them that they are eager to find solutions and resolve the matter.

The initiative gained momentum on forums, online and it is the first of this sort. Clients voiced their concerns and problems on the internet and they joined forces, forming a collective entity in order to find justice in court against the bank.
