French companies do not plan to leave Romania and about 50 new companies prospect the market for future investments in Romania, representatives of the French Chamber of Commerce declared on September 14. However, infrastructure works need to be urgently resolved otherwise Romania risks to lose future investors for Serbia. French Chamber of Commerce Bruno Roche declared for HotNews.ro that fiscal policies adopted after the IMF agreement were not felt by French companies and were neutral.

Roche underlined that infrastructure works are vilta. He said that France is interested by the privatisation of CFR Marfa, the railway company in charge with the movement of goods. He said that the best financing source is the public private partnership.
