Traian Basescu is guilty for everything that goes wrong in Romania, business man and media mogul Sorin Ovidiu Vantu declared in an interview for the media trust he owns, Realitatea TV. The interview was registered in May and was released on Thursday, September 16 after Vantu was released.
I do not invest in Romania because Basescu called all his dogs against me: prosecutors, judges, policemen, Vantu said. In Romania, anybody can block your accounts.
In his opinion, instead of the powerful institutions he would like for Romania, now stands Traian Basescu. He said that after the last elections, Basescu derailed even more. I cannot sustain a man like Traian Basescu, Vantu said.
He underlined that he has no intention to sell the media trust annd said that Videanu, former Economy minister was interested in buying the trust. Sorin Ovidiu Vantu declared that he did not betray Mircea Geoana during the 2009 presidential campaign. He said he is not a traitor.
