Romania's Chamber of Deputies will decide on Tuesday on the schedule of the vote on the pensions law, after the permanent office of the chamber agreed. The announcement was made on Monday by the leader of the Social Democrats and Conservative deputies, quoted by the Romanian news agency Agerpres. He said that the decision was taken at the request of the Liberals and Social Democrats.

Also on Monday, the Chamber's speaker Roberta Anastase declared that leaders of the coalition agreed to ask Parliamentarians if they agree to re-schedule the vote on the pensions law. She accused that PSD leader Victor Ponta appeared to have taken a vote on the electronic system but he was not present in the room.

Her declarations follow Ponta's threat to submit a penal complaint against Anastase for abuse in service for the way she ruled the session during the law on pensions was on the agenda.
