Chamber of Deputies Speaker Roberta Anastase accused on Tuesday in the Parliament the Social Democratic Party of blackmail. She claims that the party asked PDL 127 billion lei in exchange for a positive vote on the law on pensions. Anastase said that there is an email sent on September 17 at 9:44 AM by a PSD member which contains the exact numbers requested by the PSD in exchange for the votes.

Anastase refused to make the email public and a photograph made during the press conference reveals an email printed, signed by Adriana Costescu, secretary of PSD member Valeriu Zgonea.

PSD leader Victor Ponta declared that noone from the PDL discussed about a vote. Those who are bought by Anastase are the independents, Ponta told the press.
