Interior minister Vasile Blaga declared that he resigned this morning, in a press conference organized by the ministry. Blaga took the opportunity to reiterate the main achivements of the Interior ministry during his rule as minister. The ministry is the only institution in Romania who managed to attract 100% European funds - about 600 million euro, Blaga said.
Regarding the protest of police officers, I maintain my point of view: police officers have every right to protest, but within the rule of law and those who did not respect the law will respond to the gravity of actions they committed.
