Trust in Romania's economy improved in September due to a better perception of perspectives in industry, consumption and constructions, a monthly survey set up by the European Commission concludes. Moreover, perspectives in the service sector remained unchanged, compared to the previous month, and trust in retail commerce dropped.

The trust index for the Romanian economy increased by 76.7 points in September from 76.4 points in August. Even so, Romania is second last in the EU on this issue. The countries with high trust indexes are Germany with 113.2 points and Austria with 110.2 points.
