President Basescu received on Wednesday, at Cotroceni, the European Commissioner on Social Affairs Laszlo Andor, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs. The chief of state thanked the official for the EC's attention to the Rroma issues and invited him to visit the areas where integrated Rroma live.
Andor declared, at his turn, that he knows that those repatriated from France are ready to return and declared that France is not taking a constructive approach to the problem. He said that as long as they do not have any options in Romania for a better life, they will do whatever they can to return.
