The difference between the projects for which a contract was signed and those that actually got the money is too big which meanst that some projects were made at request, to fit the numbers, Romanian National Central Bank Chief Economist Valentin Lazea declared on Monday. He added that some projects cannot receive credits from the banks and thus are ordered.

According to him, Romania has over 8.7 billion euro available for 2007 - 2010 and 76% are covered by existing projects.

64% of the overall projects are signed but only 12% received money.
