The son of PDL Senator Sorina Placinta, Andrei Placinta was temporary arrested for 24 hours by prosecutors, accused for attempt of murder, judicial sources declared, quoted by the Romanian news agency Mediafax.
Andrei Placinta was heared by prosecutors in the file about his involvement in a car accident, after a fight with his girlfriend. One of the lawyers of the young man declared that it was nothing more than a lovers' quarrel.
Initially, the young man gave a declaration at the hospital where he was taken to after the accident. He was later heard by prosecutors who decided to temporary arrest him for 24 hours. On Tuesday, the Bucharest Court started a penal investigation against Andrei Placinta for attempt of murder.
Apparently Placinta hit his girlfriend and then he jumped on her car and when he wanted to leave, he hit a man.
