​The government meets on Tuesday night, at 6 PM to approve the supplementary intent letter with the IMF and the supplementary agreement with the EU, the executive informs. The supplementary letter with the IMF, agreed in October - November among others that the government promised to decrease the number of state employees and to diminish the budgetary deficit at 3% of GDP in 2012.

The government promised that bonuses for the budgetary employees will be calculated as a maximum ceiling and will be offered within this limit, in accordance with budgetary resources.

The government plans to decrease the number of hospitalizations by 10% compared to this year's level and decrease the accepted added value for drugs used to treat cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, TBC.

The supplementary letter includes the government's commitment to cut the budgetary deficit in 2012 to 3% of GDP but reads that the objective will impose the maintanance of restructions for spending and can impose other supplementary measures.

A IMF/EC/ WB mission was in Romania in October 20 - November 1st to evaluate the agreement and to start preliminary talks on the new agreement.
