Romania does not occupy a proud worthy position in the UEFA Fair Play top, a press release of the institution reads. After it evaluated the games from May 2010 to December 2010, UEFA concluded that Norway, England and Sweden are the first three countries in the top. Romania occupied the 40th position.

Evaluations were made by UEFA official representatives to the Europe matches, based on criteria like positive game, respect for the opponent, respect for arbiters, behavior of the fans and of the team’s officials and the warnings received by players. Of a total of 48 countries, Romania is on the 40th position.

This top is provisional as the final rankings will be established after the whole period, until April 30 2011 will be considered.
