Romania might be ready, technically to join Schengen while Bulgaria is still working to have all technical requirements up and working, Hungarian Interior minister Sandor Pinter said, quoted by Novinite.com. However, the Budapest official expressed hope that Bulgaria will be ready to join Schengen by June, until Hungary has the EU reigns.
In the opinion of experts, Bulgaria does not comply with all technical requirements especially at its border with Turkey, he said. The Hungarian afficial said that the two countries cannot join separately despite the fact the Romania is already ready to join Schengen.
Pinter did not put forward a possible date for the adhesion of the two countries, considering that France, Germany and Finland already announced that they will not support the adhesion of the two countries.
