Prosecutors started an investigation at the Bucharest Emergency Hospital where businessman Vantu was hospitalized on Monday, sources from the hospital declared for HotNews.ro. Prosecutors check Vantu’s medical records. On Tuesday, Vantu was not present at the new term of his trial, his lawyers claiming that he is hospitalized for supplementary investigations after a fractured knee cap.
Vantu was hospitalized on Monday, January 24th, a day before the trial. Contacted by HotNews.ro, Vantu said that last week he fractured his knee cap and this week he needs to have further investigations.
