Higher Court of Justice magistrates will discuss on Tuesday the appeal of 15 customs and police officers at the Siret customs against the decision ruling their arrest, news agency Agerpres reports. According to anti-graft prosecutors, the sums received by Siret customs officers in one shift of 10-12 people varied between 8000 lei to 20,000-25,000 lei.

Anti graft prosecutors claim that during September 2010 to January 2011, a crime networl was organized formed by customs and police officers with the aim to gather important sums of money from bribes, ignoring felonies committed by individuals crossing the customs.
