American President Barack Obama announced on Tuesday that the US will transfer in a few days the commandment of the operations in Libya to NATO and NATO will command the operation thereafter. The US will become one of the partners, among many others, the White House leader said.

Meanwhile, NATO member countries at Brussels meet to decide on the situation in Libya. A decision of the allies needs a unanimous decision from all 28 member states. Coalition forces admit that they have little information about the place where Qaddafi might hide, American General Carter Ham said, quoted by AFP.

On the other hand, China demanded once again an immediate cease fire claiming that the conflict will hurt civilians and will trigger a humanitarian crisis.
