The body of Romanian Filaret Motco, killed in the violent protests in front of UN’s headquarters in Mazar I Sharif will be brought in Romania on Friday, April 8th with a Tarom airplane on the Military Airport at Otopeni. The remains will be received with a military ceremony organized by Romania’s Defense ministry, Romania’s Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Doris Mircea announced, quoted by Romanian news agency Agerpres.

From thereon, the body will be transported to Suceava by a military plane and from there it will be taken over by a specialized military unit to take it to the final destination at Izvoarele Sucevei. A UN representative will accompany the remains. Romanian international expert Filaret Motco, aged 43, died in the violent protests in front of the UN headquarters at Mazar I Sharif on April 1st. He had an impressive international career and attended several international UN missions.
