Presidential counselor Sebastian Lazaroiu was dismissed through a presidential decree signed on Thursday by the President, the Presidency informs. Starting May 1st 2011, the contract between Sebastian Lazaroiu and the Presidency will cease, as agreed by both parties, a press release of the presidency informs.
Lazaroiu declared for news agency Mediafax that he wishes to dedicate to political analysis and therefore to avoid having his work be associated with the Presidency. Lazaroiu said that the work contract ended with the agreement of the both parties. He says that he does not want to see his political analysis works associated with the Presidency. Lazaroiu was Presidential Counselor since 2007.
