PM Emil Boc considers that companies in Romania might invest in Turkmenistan in projects in the advanced technology sector and energy infrastructure. The proposal was made by the Romanian Prime Minister during the meeting with Turkmenistan’s President, Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov. At his turn, the Turkmenistan President invited Romanian companies to participate in major projects in energy, transports, communications and education his country is currently undergoing or plans to start, the government informs.

Romania, through the companies it has, can become a part in projects in advanced technology and the energy infrastructure, PM Boc said. He evoked the bilateral cooperation perspectives that the three biggest European projects like Nabucco, AGRI and PEOP bring to increase energy security in Europe. Romania is interested to diversity sources and routes of energy transports, Boc said.
